the C O M P U T E R S ,
these computers look as though they were built in the roman times, but if you're desperate for a glimpse of the outside world, the internet is probably the only way to do so. most webpages are blocked-out, unless you know the pin number. maybe you can get it off of a member of staff.

most students try to avoid these rooms like the plague. most of the teachers do too, but it's expected that we give you some sort of education, so for four hours a day, you must attend various mandatory classes.

the D E T E N T I O N H A L L ,
whether you actually did it or not, you've got caught doing something that you're not supposed to be doing, so you must be punished. you'll probably just be given lines to write, but it depends on the staff that is holding the detention. some of them can be very imaginative about the punishments given out.

for the few people which actually choose to do their homework, you can come and do the old-fashioned research here. it's probably quicker to find a book than to use the school's snail-pace internet.
